As a result of Adam and Eve's folly, we all have been cast east of Eden. We live as aliens who know we are not at home and whose plot always involves efforts to rise above the tragedy of our condition. We seek a way to return to Eden that will bring resolution and peace. We are looking for our Eden and the intimacy we would have known with our heavenly Parent had we not disobeyed. At the same time, we are trying to make sense of the earthly parents we have been given. And we are simultaneously trying to understand our time, face, and name.
In other words, we are trying to make sense of our story.

okay
Everything is eternally okay. By that, I mean resolved. A resounding resolution that penetrates the deepest caverns of our lives, bouncing off the hard of heart and absorbed into the pores of those who yearn for truth. This glorious roar of reconciliation between God and man leaves nothing, no one untouched. It drowns out the shrieking voices of my fears. Everything is eternally okay.
